tChess is a "universal binary" that runs equally well on the iPhone and iPad.
Unlike other chess games, you can buy one copy of tChess and use it on all of your devices.
tChess's signature blue board and diagram graphics are ideal for use on the iPhone's
small screen but the iPad's bigger screen opens up a world of new possibilities.
To this end, tChess now includes
raytraced 2-D graphics
made to resemble actual high-end chess boards and pieces while still offering optimal
playability.
It also includes
a 3-D chess board
that is easily rotated and zoomed with simple multitouch gestures.
It uses high-polygon-count models for the pieces, texture mapping,
dynamic lighting effects, animations, and shadows to create an
ultra-realistic 3-D experience.
